Glues and repair/reline kits sold over-the-counter often contain chemicals which can be toxic and should not be used on a regular basis on dentures. A poor home repair or reline can also lead to problems with the occlusion or fit of the denture, resulting in damage to the gums and/or a more costly fix. In the long run it is cheaper and less frustrating to have the work done properly by your Denturist.
